Objective : The two years Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree with specialisation in International Relations conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the International Relations in general and its theories, concepts, Institutions, International Legal Bodies, systemic tools, intercultural competence etc. in particular.

Eligibility : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Duration : 4 Semester

Award : Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree with specialization in International Relations shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University.

Careers in Public Administration

International Relations is the study of relationship between two countries, including the roles of States, IGOs, INGOs, NGOs, .and MNCs. It is both an academic and public policy field and can be either positive or normative as it both seeks to analyse as well as formulate the foriegn policy of particular States. International Relations involves a diverse range of issues including globalisation, state sovereignty, International security, ecological sustainability, nuclear proliferation, nationalism, economic development, global finance, terrorism, organised crime, human security, foreign interventionism and human rights.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300/- per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland

All students are required to submit a dissertation at the end of the final semester.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
