Master of Arts (M.A.) Trafficking Abatement

Objective : The two years Master of Arts (M.A) Degree in Trafficking Abatement conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of human trafficking, drug addiction and drug abuse, illegal drug trade, drug trafficking, terrorism, global peace and security, illegal funding through mafia, human rights and human trafficking interface.

Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline Duration : 4 Semesters

Award : Master of Arts (M.A) Degree in Trafficking Abatement shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland.

Careers in Trafficking Abatement

Trafficking Abatement is an important subject for training and research as the illegal trade of human beings for the purposes of reproductive slavery, commercial sexual exploitation, forced labour etc. is growing day by day. The protocol to prevent, suppress and punish trafficking in persons, especially women and children was adopted by the united nations in Palermo, Italy in 2000 and is an international legal agreement attached to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organised Crime. Those trained in the area of trafficking abatement are in demand for stopping this criminal industry

Total Fee : Rs. 28,150/-

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 28,150/- in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland by registered / speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300/- per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland.

All students are required to submit a dissertation at the end of the final semester.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects
