Master of COMMERCE
Objective : The two years Master of Commerce Degree conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of commerce, management, money and banking, human resource management, marketing, finance, entrepreneurial development, accountability and audit, corporate management, call centre management, e-commerce etc.
Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline Duration : Two years
Award : Master of Commerce Degree shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by the University.
Why Commerce Education?
There is an urgent need for improving commerce and management education in India as well as in the neighbouring countries for facing the new challenges of the twenty first century and the third millennium with a view to tacking issues related to globalisation, economic empowerment, corporate social responsibility, finance and banking, national as well as international business, accounting, auditing, actuarial sciences besides new areas in the emerging fields like economics of tourism, travel and hospitality industry, ecological as well as environmental economics, funds for disaster management and sustainable development, green business technologies, appropriate and proven theories for optimisation.
Total Fee : Rs. 28,150/-
Submission of Admission Forms : The completed Admission Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photos, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 28,150/- in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland, ” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland.
Examination : Semester Examinations are conducted in June and December every year. An Examination Fee of Rs. 300/- per paper is also to be paid in the name of The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur, Nagaland.
Dissertation : All students are required to submit the Dissertation at the end of Fourth Semester.
Assignments: All admitted participants must submit subject-wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects
