Master of Laws (LL.M.)
Objective : The two years Master of Laws (LL.M.) conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of jurisprudence, constitutional history, paralegal services, right to information and specialised laws for women and children, human rights, arbitration, criminology, torts, labour, banking, environment, companies, families, IPR etc.
Eligibility : Bachelor of Laws (LL.B./B.L.)/Bachelor of General/Academic Laws (B.A.L./B.G.L.) Duration : 4 Semesters
Award : Master of Laws (LL.M.) shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland, . They will also be eligible for admission in the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programmes in the relevant Schools and Faculties at The Global Open University, Nagaland.
Careers in Legal Profession
Those completing LL.M. Degree are preferred for jobs in the universities, colleges and research institutions. Promotions are made based on LL.M. qualification acquired by those in the judicial service in the Central / State Government.
Total Fee : Rs. 38,150/-
Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 38,150/- in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland by registered / speed post only.
Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300/- per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland.
All students are required to submit a dissertation at the end of the final semester.
Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects
