Master of Science (M.Sc.) Forensic Science
Objective : The two years Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Forensic Science conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of forensic activities, resources and programmes, forensic psychology, psychiatry, anthropology, entomology, pathology, odontology, toxicology besides information and digital forensics, forensic technologies, forensic nursing and forensic labs, photonic solutions and forensic laws.

Careers in Forensic Science
Forensic Science is the application of a broad spectrum of sciences to answer questions of interest to a legal system which may be in relation to a crime or a civil action. The increasing use of logic and procedures in criminal investigations has led the science of forensics popular in individual legal proceedings. New subjects like forensic toxicology, computer forensics, forensic services and technologies have made this science unique in locating criminals with scientific evidences enabling the criminal justice system to make suitable judgements in time.

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 28,150/- in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland by registered / speed post only.
Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300/- per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland.
All students are required to submit a dissertation at the end of the final semester.
Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects
