Master of Science (M.Sc.) Mental Health
Objective : The two years Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mental Health conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of mental health, positive psychology, neurotic, psychotic, neurological and personality disorders besides personality theories and modern/indigenous treatments for mental disorders.
Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline Duration : 4 Semesters
Award : Master of Science (M.Sc.) with specialisation in Mental Health shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland.

Mental Health describes a level of cognitive or emotional well being or an absence of a mental disorder. From the perspectives of the discipline of positive psychology or holism, mental health may include an individual’s ability to enjoy life and procure a balance between life activities and efforts to achieve psychological resilience. Mental Health is an expression of emotions and signifies a successful adaptation to a range of demands. This is a very specialised field. Experts produced are contributing in their own specific fields by correcting the patient’s mental disorders.

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 28150/- in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland by registered / speed post only.
Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300/- per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland.
All students are required to submit a dissertation at the end of the final semester.
Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects
