Master of Science (M.Sc.) Organic Farming

Objective : The two years Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Organic Farming conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of vermiculture, organic farming, green farming, organic food, production etc.

Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline Duration : 4 Semesters

Award : aster of Science (M.Sc.) Degree with specialization in Organic Farming shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University Nagaland.

Careers in Organic farming

Organic Food is in great demand and accordingly organic farming should be encouraged by using organic fertilizers by using techniques related to vermiculture and vermicomposting through the proper and scientific utilization of biodegradable wastes.

Those completing the Master’s Degree in Organic Farming having expert knowledge of organic fertilizers, organic food, organic farming and related technologies are finding ready jobs in the market in India as well as in other developed countries.

Total Fee : Rs. 28,150/-

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 28,150/- in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland by registered / speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300/- per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland.

All students are required to submit a dissertation at the end of the final semester.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
