Master of Science (M.Sc.) Sustainable Development

Objective : The two years Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Sustainable Development conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation, energy policies, green movements, eco-philosophy, environmental disasters, biodiversity and pollution control.

Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline Duration : 4 Semesters

Award : Master of Science with specialisation in Sustainable Development shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland.

Careers in Sustainable Development

There is hardly any country in the world where development policy is sustainable. That is why an urgent need has been felt by the United Nations and all countries of the world for ensuring sustainable development by designing action and developmental plans with environment, ecology, habitat, population, greening, land development in mind for a balanced growth in the areas of health, family welfare, rural and urban planning, science and technology, use of alternative and renewable energy, water resources, mountain development, ethno botanical and zoological considerations.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300/- per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland

All students are required to submit a dessertation at the end of the final semester.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
