Objective : The two years Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Management conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in hotels, motels, fast food chains, tourism centres, resorts, vedic villages, guest houses, religious places, pilgrimages, hostels, ecological, adventure, medical, cultural, ethnobotanical, mountain and sports tourism complexes in India as well as in the rest of the world besides jobs in top managerial positions.

Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline Duration : 4 Semesters

Award : Master of Science (M.Sc.) with specialisation in Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Management shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland.

Hotel, Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Industry is growing by leaps and bounds. With the growing tourism and travel industry, India is all set to have at least 50000 more hotel and motel establishments in the coming five years. Accordingly a competent cadre of young professionals with expert knowledge of tourism and travel techniques is required urgently for enabling these hospitality organisations manage their respective departments like travel desk, front office, catering housekeeping and other engineering and legal departments organised.

Total Fee : Rs. 28,150/-

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 28,150/- in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland by registered / speed post only.

Examination : To be conducted every year in June and December at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur)

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300/- per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations.

All students are required to submit a  dessertation at the end of the final semester.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
